DC-DC Converter
The DC-DC Converter is used in Gobi applications with the 24V Kestrel Board. It converts the input voltage from the Dovetail to a regulated 24V, ensuring stable and reliable operation of the Gobi.
Operation
The DC-DC Converter is simple to use, follow these instructions to ensure proper operation:
Slide the converter onto the IF1200 rails directly below the front camera, heatsink side down (Fig. 1).
Tighten the clamps until converter no longer slides on rails. Do not overtighten.
Remove the dovetail cable cover from the top of Gobi.
Plug the 26 pin connector (input voltage) into the Dovetail connector.
Plug the 20 pin connector (output voltage) into the Gobi.
Power on IF1200 and confirm proper operation of Gobi.

Notes
The converter is designed to be permanently mounted to the IF1200. When placing in case, ensure propellers are clear of rails.
The converter clamps are offset to properly fit on the rails, when installing make sure converter is in the right orientation.
The black screws on the top plate of the enclosure are to hold the clamp in place, they should only be removed for complete disassembly.
Longevity
Follow these tips to ensure long-term use of the converter and proper operation
Do not leave the converter plugged in at idle for longer than 15 minutes, airflow from aircraft is used for cooling purposes.
Do not expose to water
Use compressed air to clean enclosure
