Connection Tests

When first unboxing your new GRYFN GOBI payload:

  1. Connect external power brick to lower USB-C port on GOBI chassis

  2. Connect to GOBI WiFi (or via Ethernet cable from GOBI to ground station).

  3. Open GRYFN WebUI in a browser @ 10.0.65.50

    1. Ensure connection between GOBI and ground station is achieved. Certain IT restrictions may prevent the DHCP server from automatically accessing GOBI chassis. If this is the case, please see to access GRYFN WebUI.

  4. Connect UAV RC Transmitter to ground station* (if applicable).

  5. Power on aircraft

    1. Ensure ground station and RC Transmitter establish a connection. Certain IT restrictions may prevent proper connection. If this is the case, please contact your organization's IT department to resolve the connection issues.

Collection Tests

  1. Take the aircraft and GOBI outside.

  2. Mount GOBI on the aircraft.

  3. Take-off and perform a short flight (2-3 minutes).

  4. Ensure GOBI collects all sensor data and system log files.

Run through to setup GOBI sensors.
