#### Setting a Static IP Address

To connect to GOBI over ethernet, a static IP address will need to be assigned to the desired port used for connection (native Ethernet port, or USB-C/A if using an adapter). Some organizations may require IT privileges to edit a port's IP address.

To set a static IP address for the desired port in Windows:

<table><thead><tr><th width="122">STEP</th><th>ACTION</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>1</td><td>Open Network Status (Network and Internet Settings)</td></tr><tr><td>2</td><td>Change Adapter Options</td></tr><tr><td>3</td><td>Select the correct Ethernet connection -> Right Click -> Properties</td></tr><tr><td>4</td><td>Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) -> Properties</td></tr><tr><td>5</td><td>Use the Following IP Address: <strong>10.0.65.2</strong></td></tr><tr><td>+</td><td>Subnet Mask: <strong>255.255.255.0</strong></td></tr></tbody></table>
