Data Storage
VNIR and SWIR systems each have a 500GB internal mSata Solid State Drive (SSD) installed in the chassis. The VNIR drive records both VNIR and LiDAR data, while the SWIR drive records both SWIR and GNSS data.
Offloading Data

Connect ethernet to VNIR port

Open FTP application or Hyperspec III*

Navigate to /data/capturedData/captured folder LiDAR data will be stored in the mission folder for the corresponding VNIR capture.

Locate survey data and corresponding dark reference folder

Go to Data Logging

Open the storage device

Navigate to the data collection folder (YYYY-MM-DD)

Select files for download

GRYFN recommends downloading GNSS data after each flight and placing it in a named folder for ease of identification. Users may choose to wait until after all flights for a day are complete, but this may result in difficulty of determining which GNSS files go with each flight. See the FAQ page for more information on organizing GNSS data after the fact.
