Version Updates

Ground Control Software

If purchasing a full Ground Control Station as your RC Transmitter, Ground Control Software comes pre-installed on the system. A field laptop or tablet can also be utilized for flight planning if desired.

With an RC-Style Transmitter, a field laptop/tablet will need to have Ground Control Software installed to upload flight plans to the UAV, and to configure the payload pre-flight.

Applanix POSPac UAV (GRYFN Sahara, Mojave, Sonoran)

Introduction

Applanix GNSS/IMU sensors require raw sensor data to be post-processed for the best geo-referencing accuracy. This processing is performed in Applanix's Position and Orientation System Post-processing Package (POSPac).

When processing GRYFN payload data equipped with an APX-15, GRYFN Processing Tool handles POSPac processing in the background through the use of POSPac's batch mode feature. The only requirements are to have POSPac installed, GRYFN's custom export trajectory format setup, and set the path to the POSPac Batch executable in GRYFN Processing Tool.

Download and Installation

  • Login or create an account

  • Select Downloads -> Airborne Downloads

  • Scroll to POSPac UAV and select the correct version for your license

  • Download POSPac and Software License Utility

Licensing

GRYFN will distribute your POSPac license upon delivery of your system. After installing POSPac, run the SoftwareLicenseUtility and activate your license. This license can be used locally, or on a network by setting it up on a network accessible machine.

Overview and Export Profiles

GRYFN processing of remote sensing data requires a custom export trajectory format. This file is included with delivery of a system. After POSPac is installed, place the custom format file in the following directory:

C:\ProgramData\Applanix\User Format Profiles
