Using a 2mm hex driver, remove the M600 hard-mounted rails from the bottom of the M600 chassis.
Keep the 12 screws for installation of the vibration dampener mount.
Disconnect the 6S-LiPO power supply cable from the landing gear control module.
Remove the power distribution board bottom cover by gently prying.
Remove the top cover of the M600, exposing the flight controller. For the M600 Pro, this process necessitates removal of the front GNSS module. Using a 2mm hex driver, remove the antenna mast from the top cover and set aside. Remove the 4 screws holding the top cover to the central frame and lift the top cover off the UAV.
Be careful to not break the fan cable when lifting the top cover off the central frame. The fan cable can be disconnected to gain better access to the flight controller.
From the bottom of the UAV, route the PWM cable:
Up through the rubber grommet at the rear of the chassis, just above the power distribution board.
Up to the top side of the central frame near the flight controller output ports.
Tip: The grommets and cable are visible and accessible through the open battery slots, especially #4. Forceps may be helpful.
Connect the PWM cable to the F8 output port on the flight controller.
Reinstall the fan cable, top cover, and front GPS module.
With the PWM and landing gear power supply cables properly routed, reinstall the power distribution board bottom cover by snapping it into place.
Caution: Be careful not to pinch any cables
Reconnect the landing gear power supply XT30 connectors.
Connect the XT30 -> XT60 power cable to the M600 18V output at the bottom of the UAV.
Warning: Do not connect the Mojave power cable to any voltage source outside of the acceptable 15-18V range or serious damage could occur!
Using a 2mm hex driver, loosen the vibration isolators from the 12mm rails and re-tighten them after rotating the mounts 90 degrees for assembly.
Tip: The rails have white dotted lines to as a visual aid to ensure the damper cartridges are installed at the correct location along the rail to mate with the M600.
Using the 12 screws from the hard-mount removal, install the M600 vibration damper mount. The damper should be oriented so the payload TITH mount is slightly biased to the rear of the UAV for proper weight and balance with the GRYFN Mojave nHP + OS1 payload (no RGB).
Caution: If the mount is installed in the incorrect orientation, the M600 will be off-balance. The vibration damper mount orientation and TITH rail location can be adjusted to achieve batter balance if necessary. Please note the GRYFN Mojave payload's Center of Gravity is not always directly in-line with the payload clamp/TITH.
Using the included M3x8 and M3x6.5 screws and a 2mm hex driver, install the folding GNSS mast as shown on the left side of the UAV.
Move the antenna mast to its upright position and screw the AV18 antenna onto SMA connector.
Using the included cable ties, route the GNSS antenna cable to the bottom of the UAV near the PWM cable.
Using your cutting tool, trim the excess from the cable ties.
Caution: Be careful not to route the cable where it can be easily pinched by the antenna mast folding action, motor arms, or landing gear.
