Installing Antenna Mast
GRYFN Payloads rely on high-quality GNSS inertial navigation data. The Freefly Alta X must have an antenna mast, antenna, and cable installed to connect to the GNSS receiver on-board the payloads.
To begin installation of the GNSS antenna components:
Install the antenna adapter onto the antenna mast using the two screw holes at the top of the antenna mast
Locate the free mounting point at the back right of the aircraft, just beside the battery terminals
Attach the antenna mast to the mounting area using the four included screws
Feed the coaxial cable through the antenna mast adapter
Screw the antenna onto the cable
Feed the coaxial cable through the center of the UAV, so it is accessible under the UAV where the payload will mount
test
To secure the coaxial cable, zip tie it to the antenna mast
