# Data Collection

## GNSS-INS

APX will automatically record data once the system has been powered and is initialized. To disable data logging post-flight, login to the APX Web Configuration, go to the Data Logging tab, and uncheck the box to disable data logging.

## VNIR Hyperspectral

Configure settings per-flight with Hyperspec III. Data will collect when sensor has enter the HSI capture polygon (when GPS Triggering is enabled). Capture polygon has XY and Z components. Sensor must enter later bounds, be above the minimum altitude, and below the maximum altitude to collect data.

## SWIR Hyperspectral

Configure settings per-flight with Hyperspec III SWIR. Data will collect when sensor has enter the HSI capture polygon (when GPS Triggering is enabled). Capture polygon has XY and Z components. Sensor must enter later bounds, be above the minimum altitude, and below the maximum altitude to collect data.

## LiDAR

PWM triggering. For open-source flight-controlled aircraft (PX4, Ardupilot, etc.), PWM triggering has channel mixing with the physical Mission Start button/switch. Therefore, operator should start the mission with the physical medium rather than using on-screen methods.

For DJI systems, switch S6 on the expansion module will initiate PWM signals for data collection.
